Clementines and saffron tea

drz-4726 drz-4729 drz-4739Mondays and Tuesdays can be so electronic 80s sometimes, can’t they? They have beat, they have repetition, but even though they start with a feeling of newness and seriousness, they will soon become a cool Wednesday or an outgoing Thursday. Mondays and Tuesdays can be cutting edge, but they can also be depressing; the best way to deal with them is to add a little color to their seriousness; after all, Mondays and Tuesdays love orange.

So, we start the week with saffron tea and clementines and we chose to sit as close to the window as possible. After three minutes of sunlight warming our face and with a teacup warming our hands, we can concentrate on the interactive rhythmic of the day.

Clementines are at their best right now: they smell amazing, they are juicy and sweet; a tiny refreshing citrus face mist as you peel them. Saffron tea is so easy to make; yet it gives you the pleasure of a very delicate beverage… To prepare it, just bring a cup of water to boil and add one or two teaspoons of mountain tea. Remove from the heat and strain it, then add a few threads of saffron and honey, if you like. There you go: it is Monday and you are already ahead of the day.

ps- thank you Petite Maison Christiane for the lovely bracelet : )
