Summer summary

Here we are again! August “washed us up” in an unknown September shore. New projects, new friends, new habits: Intrigued and dazed in the same time, we try to remember those unique August moments that led us here. The truth is that August passed in the blink of an eye.

Our rhythms were captured by the festival Routes in Marpissa; it felt like a heartbeat with such energy, that was transmitted like a wave all over the island; Somewhere between the pre-festival crazy period and the post-festival super emotional period, the summer was over. August was rich in experiences and action that made all of us festival volunteers feel tired, satisfied and very united (hence the usage of the plural – as it seems, I am still on my volunteer mode).

By doing things for the festival, we had a very aegeanpan month, full of the things that we love, even if there was no time to post about them much: we walked inside a beautiful village; helped with the vine harvesting; discovered an important Aegean wetland; stayed up late to watch the shooting stars; swam in the crystal clear waters around Antiparos… This picture was taken during an unforgettable boat trip with friends, right after the festival: the M is for Marpissa ; )
